The screws to be used are the M4 (12 pcs). Insert the UPS into the rack and tighten the provided four screws. The screws to be used are the M5 screws. Read the safety instructions on chapter 2 before installing the battery cabinet. Connect the 1st battery cabinet to the UPS using the previous instructions.
The modular battery cabinet must only be used with the Easy UPS 3S with internal batteries. Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury. Refer to the UPS installation manual for detailed specifications for the UPS system. Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
Connect and route cables from positive (+) and negative (–) terminals in the bottom of the first battery cabinet into the UPS cabinet. Connect the (+) lead to terminal E4 (+) and the (–) to terminal E5 (–) in the UPS cabinet.
Line-up-and-match battery cabinets are installed adjacent to the UPS. The recommended installation location is on the right side of the UPS cabinet. See Figure 2 and Figure 3 for line-up-and-match configuration views. Contains two or three battery strings to be used with the 93E 30 kVA UPS.
